Many ways to make a difference in the lives of our homeless keiki
Our summer educational camp is the foundation of our success in helping these children escape their cycle of poverty. This camp has been their stepping stones to gain the self-esteem and life skills needed to continue their journey through school and eventually graduate.
This is all possible by the support we receive from amazing donors like you!

Healthy Meals/Snacks
We have received Covid Support from the Hawaii Community Foundation to help support some of our meal programs. However, we still have great opportunities for YOU to help provide health meals/snacks for our homeless keiki.
We do strive to use local grown food items, non gmo and/or organic when possible. This helps our children's brains and bodies detox from their unhealthy eating habits, and allows for more healthier growth while they are learning more life skills and lessons.
The NEED:
Meals/Snacks or Food Item to feed our group of 48 this summer.
The WHY:
our homeless children rely on our program to help keep their healthy and provide daily meals over summer break

Urgent TEEN SUPPORT
Our teen mentoring program has been a wonderful experience for so many teens to learn and grow with self confidence and skills to help them become leaders of themselves regardless the situation they are living in.
RIGHT NOW the URGENT NEED is:
I need sponsors to help with these teens needs to attend camp. They are with us for the 19 days 24/7. As you know all our children come to camp with bare minimum supplies, these teens are with us even longer.
We plan to take our teens shopping the 7th-9th of July to allow them to choose their own camp outfits, undergarments, shoes and swimsuit needed for camp. We estimate this is a $200. per teen. Due to Covid, not sure what stores are going to be open, so this year because TARGET has been such a support we are choosing to shop Target. If you choose to sponsor a gift card for our teen, please make it Target.
Otherwise please donate below.

Help Our Teens Prepare for Camp
Share Your Talent Guests
The NEED:
Guests to share their talents with our keiki during a 3 hour session at camp. As a guest you will implement a fun learning activity of your choice.
The WHY:
Our children have very limited resources or experiences in their lives. Being raised in a tent, or car, or moving from situation to situation, they are not taught basic life skills to succeed in school. Many have never painted, been creative with basic toys, had a team sport situation, been introduced to music... simple pleasures we take for granite.
YOU MAKE THE DIFFERENCE:
You help change their lives by introducing them to the world out there. Helping them to be prepared for school and the process of learning.

TEEN WORKSHOPS
THE NEED: Wish to help our teens gain self-esteem and leadership skills? We have a few openings for those who would like to host a workshop. Your workshop will be a min. of 2 hours to 3 hours. Be interactive, allow the teen to think of solutions for some of what holds them back, mostly emotional. Journaling, visualization, communication skills, etc.
I have some fun ideas if you need a project.
This is great for someone who might be wishing to work on their presentation skills, working on their own degrees.
THE WHY?:
Our teens need to learn self leadership skills to succeed in school and overcome their challenges that usually cause them to drop out of school. Our programs have helped so many teens graduate from high school and going on to college.

Kiva.org ~ Microloans for Inspirig Entrepreneurs Worldwide

By lending as little as $25, you can help people around the world create opportunity for themselves and their communities.

We love the idea of small businesses or individuals helping other small business owners in so many places all over the world! A friend suggested we try Kiva.org several years ago and we have enjoyed the experience! At just $25 per (micro)loan, the impact seems small, but is magnified. It is also inspiring to see the results made by these of the funds.

Altogether we have given under $1,000 over several years, but as the loans are recycled and given to new applicants as the older loans are repaid, the impact has been $3,335 with 134 loans made in 40 different countries! We have learned so very much from the recipients, too, of their goals, challenges, and successes!

Currently, Kiva is helping with the Global COVID-19 crisis and relief, as well as Refugees world wide, Education, Agriculture, Home Improvement, Shop or Livestock Supplies, Arts, etc.

Here are some of our most recent partners. We wish them much continued success and thank them for their beautiful inspiration!
